Tech Support for Using Forum (it will be worth your time).

Post by Freedom_train »

This is a PHP BB forum in case you want to Google for a solution. Although a popular platform, it is not always obvious how to use it's variety of options. I will cover some of the most often encountered questions. Also in the top left of the page is the "FAQ" linking you to answers by topic.

First is locating your "User Control Panel". It contains most of your key tools that you will be needing, including drafts to posts. It is located near the page top right, dropdown under you name. The image that deals with posting drafts shows the tools on the panel, including profile, private messages, settings, signature, etc.

Also check the "quick links" dropdown. It is located just under the "City Gabay" logo on the top left of page (click the image logo and you go to main website). The "quick links" mostly manages your past posts. There is also a FAQ there also.

After saving a draft you will need to go to your "User Control Panel" to update or publish this post. Here is a quick link after being logged in.

There is a limit to image file upload size of 200 kb max upload size. Also there is a max historical total to your attachments, so contact the Admin if you need more space.

Many phones and cameras take photos with large file size. Use this online uploader with the compress button and the size dimensions can be reduced also. 300 X 300 is a good size for posting.

Also there is a few options for adding attachments. In line means that it will appear in your text as with this post(wherever your cursor is or you paste the code) . Keep in mind that attachments will not be saved(yes deleted) with drafts.

See the image below to learn how to post a draft and return to the text editor.

For long posts, it is good to keep a copy on a desktop notepad as you write the text in case of internet loss or saving of post failure,

You can contact the admin here if necessary by " send private message"
